Miles of Elbow Room
Cassette
& LP(!!), Released in 1987
Win Grace: accordion, autoharps, vocals
Paul Fotsch Grace: fiddle, mandolin, guitar,
vocals
When this album was made, Win
Grace and Paul Fotsch Grace were touring and performing across North America (with
daughters Leela and Ellie in tow, of course) in a 1964
Chevy 1-ton truck camper. The concept of Fifty Miles of
Elbow Room was never far from their minds... This
album was recorded live, direct to stereo, to reflect the
feel of having these two folkies playing music in
your living room. Great care was taken with the making
of this album since it was their first record! Remember
records? Unfortunately, they made
their first record just as records went out of style.
But it's still a great album!!
